Nature of Raw Materials:
Tenebrio molitor is the larval form of Tenebrio molitor beetle, which is a dark colored beetle. Like all holometabolic insects, they go through four life stages: egg, larva, pupa and adult. The larva is usually about 2.5 cm long or larger, while the adult is usually between 1.25 and 1.8 cm long.

Wheat bran,seasonal vegetables and fruit only
Production Process
Extracted mealworm oil can be used as high-grade cooking oil and transformer oil; Peptide and chitin can be used as bio-pharmaceutical raw materials. The remaining mealworm protein powder can be used as high-quality raw materials for feed mills and breeds.
Product Packaging And Transportation:
The current packaging is 25KG/ bag blank kraft paper bags, and 700KG/ ton bags. We can make self-adhesive shipping mark according to your requirements. Products can be palletized with plywood fumigation-free pallet.
Container Transport:
20 feet container: 22 tons Max without pallets. 12 tons Max with pallets (1.5 tons/pallet, 8 pallets/ container)
40 feet container: 27 tons Max without pallets, 24 tons Max with pallets.
Therefore, it is suggested that the unit price of 20-feet container without pallets is the lowest.
Storage Conditions And Shelf Life
Ventilated dry storage, the shelf life of the product is 12 months..
The Time Of Delivery
According to the production situation and shipping date, the delivery time is generally about 14 days.
Problems In Mailing Samples Of The Mealworm Protein
Powdered goods cannot be sent from China by international express. Therefore, if you need samples for testing, we will press the powder into granules or blocks for mailing. The shape change is purely physical and will not affect the composition of the product itself. After receiving the sample, you can crush it for testing or trial feeding.
