Introduction Of Yellow Mealworms
Mealworms are the larval shape of the mealworm beetle, mealworm, a species of darkling beetle. Like all holometabolic insects, they undergo 4 existence stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. Larvae normally degree approximately 2.5cm or more, while adults are typically among 1.25 and 1.8 cm in length.
It takes approximately 65-68 days for mealworms to hatch from eggs to larvae. Because the breeding time could be very short, we are able to regulate the manufacturing of mealworms. The processing approach is to apply big microwave drying system for microwave drying. This can make certain that the yellow mealworm protein is absolutely retained.
Feed For Mealworm:
Wheat bran, seasonal vegetables and fruit only.
Because wheat and vegetables are the main crops in the northern Plains of China, the price of mealworm feed is very low, so the area is ideal for large-scale mealworm farming.
Our Production Capacity
At present, our factory has more than 300 breeding bases for yellow mealworms, which can produce 100,000 tons of yellow mealworms every year. Most of the dried mealworms are used in the production of insect protein powder and are also exported to the world. We can expand the scale of breeding production at any time according to market demand. Therefore, it can meet the production requirements of customers all over the world.
Packing And Transportation
Pack dried yellow mealworms in a moisture-proof plastic bag every 5 kg or 10 kg (5 kg is recommended) and then pack them in a rigid carton outside. About 460 cartons (5kg, 4-5 mt)/ 20ft container.
Are Dried Yellow Mealworms Safe To Use As Pet Food?
Any pesticide residues and toxic substances can kill the yellow mealworm during its growth, so never use vegetables and feed containing any pesticides during the breeding process. This ensures that the dried mealworms themselves are free of any pesticide residues and harmful substances. So,it is a very safe pet food.
